Problem. Let us calculate the resultant (sum) of two
two-dimensional vectors 1 and
2. The vectors will be specified in
terms of their magnitudes v1 and
v2 and direction angles q1 and q2. The angles are measured in the
positive sense (counter-clockwise) relative to the horizontal
direction pointing to the right (the 'East' direction).
