Let's consider the case of a car rounding a corner banked at 30o. Set the coefficient of friction to be 0.85 and observe what happens to the direction of the frictional force as you adjust the speed of the car. Try to explain why the frictional force responds this way.

Next, let's consider the fastest possible speed with which you could round the corner without skidding. Display the FBD and toggle on the components (you may wish to toggle off the image to see this more clearly). What is this fastest speed?
