Explanation of Points

  1. Graph
This graph represents the relationship between angular velocity and time.  Hold down the Ctrl key to adjust its origin, or simply click and drag the graph anywhere to adjust its location.
  2. Reference Point
Click and drag this point to see how it affects the angular velocity.
  3. Play/Pause
This button will start and pause the execution of the experiment.
  4. Step
Press this button once to step through one iteration of the experiment.  The amount of time of the step is determined by the Step slider.
  5. Reset
Pressing this button will reset the experiment.  The reference point will return to its original position as will the car.
  6. Replay
Press this button to replay the experiment using the current settings.  Only the car's position will be reset but the reference point will remain where it was last positioned.
  7. Help
Press this button to bring up this help page.
  8. Trajectory
Choose among three types of trajectory:
Line - This shows a trajectory of a straight line.
Circle - This shows a circular trajectory.
Arc - This shows a parabolic trajectory.
  9. Direction
Choose a direction for the object in the simulation to travel.
  10. Step Time
This slider determines how much time is elapsed when the Step button is pressed.
  11. Speed
